The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office today announced it issued 285 citations during the recent Memorial Day “Click It or Ticket” enforcement period. The 16-year-old juvenile was issued a citation for Failure to Yield. Lynch was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle EMS for suspected serious injuries. The 17-year-old juvenile passenger in the white Chevrolet Tahoe was uninjured. The 16-year-old juvenile was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital for evaluation of possible injuries by Rochelle EMS. The black Kia collided with the white Chevrolet, causing both vehicles to exit the roadway to the southeast side of the intersection.
The white 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe then entered the intersection, where it failed to yield, to a black 2021 Kia Soul, that was traveling southbound on S. and had stopped at the intersection at S. During the course of the investigation it was determined that a white 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by a 16-year-old juvenile, was traveling eastbound on E. for a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries. On at 1956 hours, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of E.
